Philippine Airlines (PAL) has secured the second spot in the Top 10 Travel Brands in Southeast Asia for 2024, reaffirming its strong presence in the region’s aviation industry. The national flag carrier outperformed several major Southeast Asian airlines and competitors from Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
According to Campaign Asia-Pacific, which published the rankings in partnership with research firm Milieu Insight, PAL earned high marks for its buying experience, customer service, and strong domestic brand recognition. Among Philippine brands, PAL was recognized as the top travel brand with an overall score of 63.15%, earning the distinction of being a “firm favorite among Filipino consumers.”

The list of Southeast Asia’s top travel brands featured airlines from Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore, reflecting the region’s competitive aviation sector. The rankings were determined based on key attributes such as brand awareness, purchase frequency, quality, customer trust, service excellence, and innovation.
In addition to this recognition, PAL also ranked among the top 10 most punctual airlines in the Asia-Pacific region for 2024, according to aviation analytics firm Cirium. The airline placed seventh in on-time performance, making it the only Philippine carrier to earn a spot among Asia-Pacific’s Top Airline Performers.
