AirAsia, hailed as the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline, is giving Filipino travelers more options to explore international destinations with the launch of its new service to Istanbul, Turkey, via Kuala Lumpur. The Manila – Kuala Lumpur – Istanbul route will officially begin operations on 14 November 2025, further strengthening the airline’s presence in the ASEAN region and beyond.
The new route will operate four times weekly under AirAsia’s Fly-Thru service, allowing guests to seamlessly connect through Kuala Lumpur to reach Istanbul at affordable fares. The service is expected to attract not only Filipinos but also ASEAN travelers eager to experience one of the world’s most iconic cities.
Istanbul, uniquely positioned at the crossroads of Asia and Europe, offers visitors a rich cultural experience and historical heritage. Travelers can look forward to marveling at the architectural splendor of the Hagia Sophia, the grandeur of the Blue Mosque, and the enduring charm of the ancient walls of Constantinople. To complement the launch, AirAsia Philippines is offering special fares through its Rain or Shine LFG Sale, featuring one-way base fares starting at just PHP207 to popular domestic and international destinations, including Cebu, Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, Tagbilaran, Seoul, Osaka, Hong Kong, and Kota Kinabalu. The promo, available for booking until 31 August 2025, covers 392,430 seats for travel until 30 June 2026.
