Balikbayans and business travelers rejoice! AirAsia Philippines is mounting back its Singapore and Hong Kong flights this December to service Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) who will be coming home for the Christmas holidays.
Starting Saturday, 04 December 2021, AirAsia’s weekly Manila-Singapore flight Z2-825 will depart from NAIA Terminal 3 every Saturday at 8:00 AM and will arrive at Singapore Changi Airport by 11:40 AM, with a return flight Z2-826 departing Singapore Changi Airport at 12:25 PM and is expected to arrive at the NAIA T3 around 4:00 PM.
On another hand, AirAsia’s bi-weekly Manila-Hong Kong flight will take off starting Sunday, 05 December 2021 operating as Z2-1264 from the NAIA T3 at 8:35 AM and is expected to arrive at the Hong Kong International Airport by 10:55 AM. The return flight will leave an hour after and is expected to land in Manila by 2:00 PM.

The Department of Labor and Employment reported that as of June 2021, there are 165,000 OFWs in Hong Kong and 30,000 in Singapore.
The Philippines has categorized Hong Kong under the Green list which means fully vaccinated travelers will no longer be required to undergo quarantine but will be asked to submit a negative RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to departure.
Fully vaccinated travelers coming from Singapore, which falls under the Yellow list, will be required to undergo a 5-day quarantine until the release of their RT-PCR test. They will then be allowed to finish their quarantine at home.
To celebrate the resumption of flights, AirAsia Philippines is also offering an early Christmas treat to OFWs with the ‘airasia Balikbayan Package’. Also, travelers who book a flight from Hong Kong to Manila and vice-versa will also get a 10% discount for bookings made until 14 November 2021 for 05 December 2021 to 31 March 2022 flights.
Another 10% discount will be given for OFWs who will book their domestic flights from 15 to 28 November 2021, for flights from 01 December 2021 to 26 March 2022.
