AirAsia Philippines continues to chart new skies as it officially inaugurated its new headquarters, “The Red Horizon,” in Pasay City — marking another milestone in its growth story and reaffirming its commitment to providing world-class, value-driven air travel to Filipinos.

The event brought together key government and aviation officials, including Senator Erwin Tulfo, Undersecretary Arthur Bisnar of the Office for Transportation Security, Manila International Airport Authority General Manager Eric Ines, and Civil Aeronautics Board Executive Director Carmelo Arcilla. They joined Capital A CEO Tony Fernandes, AirAsia Aviation Group Deputy Group CEO for Airline Operations Capt. Chester Voo, and AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Suresh Bangah, along with the airline’s Philippine leadership team in welcoming guests to the new facility.
Dubbed as a “home of possibilities,” The Red Horizon will serve as the central office for over 1,500 Filipino Allstars — the airline’s moniker for its employees — providing a collaborative and inclusive space aligned with AirAsia’s mission to democratize air travel for the Philippine market.

Tony Fernandes underscored AirAsia’s journey of resilience and growth in his remarks, stating, “I think the resilience of Philippine AirAsia is something to marvel at. I’m someone who never gives up. I will fight to the end. But it’s tough fighting alone. And so it was amazing to see the energy. I will still remember coming to the old office and the greeting I got. The energy of this company is unbelievable. It is true, there is no AirAsia company like this. The great thing about this airline, we’ve gone from two planes to 255. We’ve been through COVID. We started with 200,000 passengers, and this year we’re carrying 90 million. We’re just short of carrying 1 billion people since we started this airline 23 years ago. But we’re all the same. We’re exactly the same. Everyone has maintained their humility, maintained their hard work, and most important about AirAsia is our passion to be the best.”
Senator Erwin Tulfo also expressed support for AirAsia’s contributions to the nation, recognizing its efforts in making air travel affordable and accessible to millions of Filipinos.
The new headquarters reflects modern Filipino values of inclusivity, collaboration, and national pride. Its meeting rooms are named after the country’s major regions — Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao — emphasizing unity and representation. Facilities include prayer rooms for spiritual inclusivity, a fully equipped gym for health and wellness, and a dedicated “People First Stop,” designed as a space for mental health support, connection, and care.
With this move, AirAsia Philippines strengthens its vision of serving not just as a carrier of people but as a partner in the nation’s progress, championing tourism, job creation, and economic growth.
