AirAsia Philippines Launches Seat Sale, Partners with Ati-Atihan Festival for a Memorable January Celebration

AirAsia Philippines is ringing in the new year with an exciting promotion and a special partnership with Kalibo’s Ati-Atihan Festival. For the third consecutive week, the airline is offering unbeatable low fares starting at just PHP188 as part of its seat sale campaign. The promotion runs from 13 to 19 January 2025, providing travelers with the chance to book 523,830 seats to select destinations. The travel period covers dates from 03 February 2025 to 30 November 2025, with special focus on popular routes like Kalibo, Cebu, Iloilo, Seoul, and Bangkok.

As the World’s Best Low-Cost Airline, AirAsia Philippines continues to solidify its status as a leader in affordable and accessible air travel. This latest seat sale follows the success of previous campaigns, including the AirAsia Fiesta Promo and a 25% off promotion for all seats, and all flights.

To kick off the year with even more excitement, AirAsia Philippines is inviting travelers to experience one of the Philippines’ most iconic celebrations — the Ati-Atihan Festival 2025. As the official airline partner of the festival, AirAsia is offering seamless travel to Kalibo, Aklan, with three daily direct flights from Manila. This partnership aims to bring visitors closer to the “Mother of All Festivals,” an annual event that draws thousands of revelers for its vibrant street parades, tribal dances, and colorful costumes.

AirAsia Philippines is also showing its appreciation for the Aklanon community by hosting a free admission concert at Magsaysay Park on 16 January 2025. Starting at 4:00 PM, the concert will feature performances by Filipino band Spongecola, singer Kyle Echarri, local artists, and the AirAsia Allstars. The Philippine National Police (PNP) will ensure the safety and security of attendees during the event.

Ricky Isla, CEO of AirAsia Philippines, shared, “As the leading airline in Kalibo, we remain committed to our mission of enhancing accessibility and stimulating travel to our key destinations by supporting the rich cultural heritage of the communities we serve. We’re proud to be the official partner of the Ati-Atihan Festival this year. To celebrate, we’ve prepared something special for the Aklanon community, including a concert, exciting raffles and giveaways.”
