AirAsia Philippines Moves All International Flights to NAIA Terminal 1 Starting 29 March 2026

AirAsia Philippines (Z2) has announced that, starting 29 March 2026 (Sunday), all international flights operated by AirAsia Philippines (Z2) and AirAsia Malaysia (AK) will relocate to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 (T1).

The terminal transfer is part of the ongoing terminal reassignment program led by the New NAIA Infrastructure Corporation (NNIC). The initiative aims to enhance airport operations and improve the overall passenger experience at the country’s primary international gateway.

Under the new arrangement, all aspects of AirAsia’s international operations — including check-in, boarding, and baggage claim — will be conducted exclusively at NAIA Terminal 1. Passengers are strongly advised to arrive at least three hours prior to their scheduled departure to allow ample time for check-in and security procedures. Terminal signage will be in place to guide travelers to the appropriate counters and facilities.

Affected guests will receive notifications via registered email and SMS. AirAsia encourages passengers to monitor their registered contact details for updates regarding the terminal transfer.

Importantly, this change affects only the terminal location; flight schedules will remain unchanged. Passengers can continue to check flight statuses through the AirAsia MOVE app or online at www.airasia.com/flightstatus.

This terminal reassignment is expected to streamline international operations for AirAsia, providing more efficient boarding processes and reducing congestion at NAIA. Travelers departing for destinations abroad are advised to adjust their plans accordingly to avoid delays.

A full list of flights impacted by the Terminal 1 transfer starting 29 March 2026 will be available on AirAsia Philippines’ official website and digital platforms. The airline reiterates its commitment to providing clear communication and a smooth transition for all international passengers affected by the terminal move.
