In a strategic move to enhance its global connectivity, All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s premier 5-Star airline for an impressive 11 consecutive years, is set to increase the number of international flights departing from Haneda Airport Terminal 2. This expansion is scheduled to take effect from 31 March 2024, promising travelers a broader range of destinations and improved transfer options.
Out of the 43 ANA international flights departing from Haneda Airport, a significant portion — 26 flights, to be exact — will now operate from Terminal 2. This development includes existing international routes from Terminal 2, covering key European cities such as London, Paris, Frankfurt, and Munich, as well as popular destinations like Honolulu, Singapore, Sydney, and Shanghai (Hongqiao). In addition, new routes to New York, Seoul, and Bangkok are being introduced, further enriching ANA’s international network.
For passengers arriving at Haneda Airport, the designated arrival terminal will be conveniently accessible through ANA’s “Flight Status Information” website, with the information becoming available 24 hours prior to departure. The confirmed terminal will be prominently displayed two hours before arrival. Travelers are advised to refer to the “Flight Status Information” for precise details on the arrival terminal, as the ANA website and the “My Booking” feature on the ANA mobile application will indicate “T2/T3.”
One notable advantage of Terminal 2 is the efficient transfer time offered for passengers connecting from domestic to international flights — just 55 minutes. This streamlined process significantly trims down transfer times compared to inter-terminal transfers, presenting a convenient option for those traveling from cities within Japan to international destinations like Honolulu from Haneda.
ANA’s move to increase its international flights from Haneda Airport Terminal 2 reflects the airline’s commitment to providing enhanced services and seamless travel experiences for passengers, solidifying its position as a leading player in the global aviation industry.
