Due to the threat of a new Coronavirus (COVID-19) variant, travelers from Austria will be barred from entering any Philippine territory effective 10 January 2021 according to the Malacañang Palace.
There is now a total of twenty-eight (28) countries and territories included in the recent Philippine travel restrictions to curve the entry and eventual spread of this new virus variant, which originated in the United Kingdom.
