A limited number of “Malasakit Kits” were distributed by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) at various airports all throughout the country for the “Undas” holidays.
Passengers arriving at the Laguindingan and Ozamiz airports were welcomed with such “Malasakit Kits” containing freebies and hygiene products like hand sanitizers, hand lotions, wet wipes, biscuits packs, bottled water, and rechargeable hand fans.
This initiative is aimed at showing appreciation to passengers through tokens that will make traveling in the new normal more convenient and comfortable.
“The CAAP hopes that this small gesture will bring comfort to travelers this Undas 2021. We would like to welcome our passengers with these kits and show them that we care about their safety as they travel amidst the pandemic,” according to CAAP Director General Jim Sydiongco.
The CAAP has regularly provided kits to those in need and especially during flight disruptions to ensure passenger convenience. This initiative was spearheaded by no less than the Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur “Art” Tugade.
