The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP), by means of a social media post, listed airports that are allowed by the Local Government Units (LGU) to resume commercial flights as of Sunday, 14 June 2020.
Based on the list, twenty-three (23) airports have been allowed by LGUs for commercial flights; nine (09) airports are set to commence accepting commercial flights at a latter date; and a total of seventeen (17) airports are still closed for commercial operations.
Since March, when the community quarantine stated in the country, commercial flight operations have been concentrated at the NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport).
