Cebu Pacific Expands International Flight Frequencies to Bangkok, Da Nang, Melbourne, & Sapporo for Holiday Season

Cebu Pacific is boosting its international flight network with additional services to Bangkok (DMK | VTBD), Da Nang (DAD | VVDN), Melbourne (MEL | YMML), and Sapporo (CTS | RJCC) starting this October 2025, just in time for the peak holiday travel season.

From 26 October 2025, flights between Cebu (CEB | RPVM) and Bangkok (Don Mueang | DMK | VTBD) will increase to four times weekly, with an added Sunday service. Two days later, on 28 October 2025, the airline will ramp up its Manila – Da Nang route to 10 weekly flights, operating twice daily on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Travelers heading to Japan will benefit from daily flights between Manila and Sapporo beginning 10 December 2025, enhancing access to Hokkaido’s famed winter attractions. Meanwhile, the Manila – Melbourne route will see its frequency rise to five times a week from 12 December 2025, with an additional Friday service.

“These additional frequencies reflect Cebu Pacific’s ongoing commitment to provide more accessibility, flexibility, and convenience to our valued passengers. As travel demand continues to rise, these expanded services allow us to better connect Filipinos to the rest of the world and welcome more visitors to the Philippines. Beyond convenience, this increased connectivity also plays a key role in stimulating tourism, enabling business opportunities, and strengthening economic ties with our neighbors in the Asia-Pacific region,” according to Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.

Cebu Pacific has steadily expanded its regional presence in recent years. It became the first Philippine carrier to operate direct flights between Manila and Da Nang in December 2023, offering quicker and more affordable access to central Vietnam’s scenic attractions and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In October 2024, it launched Cebu–Bangkok flights, giving travelers from Central Visayas a convenient gateway to Thailand’s cultural landmarks and world-renowned cuisine.

The Manila–Sapporo service, introduced in January this year, has quickly gained popularity among travelers seeking Hokkaido’s snowy landscapes, national parks, and cultural heritage. Melbourne, where CEB has operated for seven years, remains a top destination for Filipinos visiting family, enjoying its vibrant food and arts scene, or attending major sporting events.

Passengers can book these enhanced services via Cebu Pacific’s multiple payment options, including credit cards, debit cards, and e-wallets. The airline currently serves 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the UAE.
