Cebu Pacific unveiled its upgraded baggage policy earlier this week, offering passengers increased flexibility and more options for their check-in luggage. Under the enhanced policy, travelers can now avail up to three (03) pieces of baggage, with weight variants of 20 kilograms, 24 kilograms, 28 kilograms, or 32 kilograms.
Previously, Cebu Pacific passengers were restricted to purchasing a maximum of two (02) pieces, choosing from a combination of 20-kilogram or 32-kilogram baggage allowances.
To take advantage of the new baggage options, customers have the option to purchase pre-paid bags during the flight booking process. Additional baggage allowances can also be added through the Manage Booking portal using their MyCebuPacific accounts.
For passengers opting for the “GO Easy” or “GO Flexi” packages, the baggage upgrade can be selected within their chosen bundle. On the other hand, those who opt for the “GO Basic” option should first choose the CEB baggage in the add-ons section after confirming their flight dates.
The airline encourages passengers to book their flights online and create a MyCebuPacific account for added benefits, including trip notifications, booking management, and access to Travel Funds. The airline also highlights the availability of online check-in through the Cebu Pacific app and website, reducing waiting times at the airport and allowing passengers to proceed directly to their assigned boarding gates.
Cebu Pacific, a leading airline in the region, serves 35 domestic and 25 international destinations spanning Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The updated baggage policy aims to enhance the overall travel experience for its passengers, providing greater convenience and flexibility in managing their luggage requirements.
