Cebu Pacific Laoag-Manila Route Relaunched

Cebu Pacific (CEB) is reintroducing its Laoag-Manila route to provide passengers with affordable fares and improved connectivity to and from northern Luzon. Effective 22 May 2023, CEB will operate daily flights between Laoag and Manila, expanding its extensive domestic network to 35 destinations.

The addition of this new route by Cebu Pacific has made traveling within the Philippines more convenient for those departing from Laoag. Passengers can now enjoy direct flights from Ninoy Aquino International Airport to 29 other local destinations, including Bacolod, Boracay, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, and Zamboanga.

Travelers from the Ilocos Region now have seamless access to 23 international destinations via Manila. Cebu Pacific connects Manila with major cities such as Bangkok, Dubai, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Narita, Singapore, Sydney, and Taipei, facilitating convenient travel for passengers from northern Luzon.

“We are excited to fly again to Laoag as we continue to grow our domestic network and provide accessible and affordable air travel to every Juan. The relaunch of this route will also strengthen Laoag’s position as a leading tourism and cultural hub in north Luzon,” according to Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer.

CEB’s efforts to enhance the tourism industry in Ilocos Norte and promote travel to Laoag and the rest of the Ilocos Region have received a commendation from the provincial government.

“We are thrilled to welcome back Cebu Pacific to our province, as this signals a renewed hope for our tourism industry. We hope that more airlines will follow suit, as we continue to work together to revitalize our economy and bring back the vibrancy of Ilocos Norte’s tourism sector,” said Ilocos Norte Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc.

CEB is well-positioned for a complete recovery and is poised to surpass its pre-COVID network and capacity. This achievement will be supported by the airline’s seat sales, extensive domestic network, and reinstatement of its international destinations.
