Cebu Pacific reported robust financial and operational growth for the first nine months of 2025 while unveiling an exciting Piso Sale to inspire early travel planning for next year.
The airline’s total revenue reached PHP87.6 billion, marking an 18% increase from the same period last year. This growth was driven by 20 million passengers flown, a 14% year-on-year rise, and a healthy seat load factor of 84.8%. Cebu Pacific also delivered an EBITDA of PHP22.2 billion, up 26% from last year, translating to a 25% margin. Core income before tax more than doubled to PHP2.9 billion, and net income jumped to PHP9.5 billion, a significant increase from PHP3.4 billion earned during the same period in 2024, bolstered by additional gains from spare engines secured from manufacturers.
For the third quarter alone, Cebu Pacific generated PHP24.3 billion in revenue, up 5% year-on-year despite the seasonal slowdown caused by the early start of the academic year. Passenger traffic exceeded six million for the quarter, a 1% rise compared to last year. EBITDA for the quarter grew 11% to PHP4.8 billion, while net income reversed the previous year’s PHP173 million loss to a PHP499 million profit.
The airline’s growth was underpinned by an 18% increase in available seat kilometers and an 11% rise in flights year-to-date, reflecting its ongoing fleet transition to larger, more fuel-efficient NEO aircraft. By September, Cebu Pacific was operating over 3,100 weekly flights across 124 routes. Michael Szucs, CEO of Cebu Pacific, emphasized, “Cebu Pacific delivered a strong year-to-date performance despite seasonal headwinds in the third quarter. This reflects the resilience of our business model, the strength of underlying travel demand, and the discipline of our teams in managing cost and capacity amid an evolving operating environment. We remain committed to making air travel affordable and sustainable for everyone, while ensuring efficiency and reliability as we aim for an even stronger finish to 2025.”
Complementing its financial success, Cebu Pacific has launched its highly anticipated Piso Sale, offering passengers one-way base fares starting at just PHP1, exclusive of fees and surcharges.
