Cebu Pacific (CEB) is set to reconnect Filipino migrant workers and their families with the launch of direct flights between Manila and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the carrier’s return to the destination after more than a decade. The service begins March 1, 2026, providing a convenient and cost-effective option for Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their loved ones to travel between the Philippines and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The new route will operate four times weekly from Manila to Riyadh on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while flights from Riyadh to Manila will be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The Manila–Riyadh service becomes Cebu Pacific’s fourth long-haul destination, complementing its existing routes to Dubai, Sydney, and Melbourne.
This expansion aims to provide OFWs with more accessible travel, as passengers can save up to 57% on round-trip fares compared to other options. To celebrate the launch, Cebu Pacific is offering a special seat sale from December 9 to 13, with one-way base fares starting at PHP 1, exclusive of surcharges and other fees. Travel booked under this promotion is valid from March 1 to October 28, 2026, making it ideal for OFWs planning vacations, homecomings, or festive reunions. Additional discounts on Fare Bundles, which include seat selection, meals, and baggage allowance, are available until December 31.
The direct flights also open opportunities for more Filipinos to explore Saudi Arabia, from its growing cultural and historical attractions to its modern urban destinations. Passengers can use existing Travel Funds to book flights and access add-ons, or pay via credit and debit cards and e-wallets.
Cebu Pacific Honors 250 Millionth Passenger with a Web Film
Cebu Pacific celebrated a major milestone with the release of a brand film featuring its 250 millionth passenger, Singapore-based overseas Filipino worker Russel Capaniarihan, who returned to the Philippines via Flight 5J 814 from Singapore to Manila after 11 years abroad to spend the holidays with her family in Bacolod. To commemorate reaching 250 million passengers, CEB awarded Capaniarihan PHP250,000 in cash and 25 free round-trip flights across its network in the Philippines, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, which she used to take her family on their first vacation together to Puerto Princesa — a trip that marked their first time in Palawan and, for some, their first time ever on a plane. The film, now available on CEB’s Facebook and YouTube channels, highlights how the airline’s story is built on the journeys of the people it flies, reflecting the importance of coming home, reconnecting with loved ones, and fulfilling long-awaited plans, reinforcing CEB’s commitment to creating meaningful travel experiences for all its passengers.
Cebu Pacific currently operates in 37 domestic and 27 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, maintaining its focus on providing affordable and accessible air travel. The airline continues to celebrate the journeys of its passengers, having recently marked a milestone with its 250 millionth traveler, Singapore-based OFW Russel Capaniarihan, who returned home after 11 years abroad. Cebu Pacific commemorated this milestone by awarding her PHP 250,000 and 25 free round-trip flights, which she used to take her family on their first vacation together in Palawan, highlighting the airline’s commitment to helping Filipinos reconnect with home and family.
