Cebu Pacific, Singapore Tourism Board Team Up to Promote “Fly, Stay, Cruise” Packages & Vibrant Events for Filipino Travelers

The Philippines’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific (CEB) has solidified its partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to create exciting travel opportunities for Filipinos looking to explore the Lion City. The renewed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on 06 June 2024 focuses on several key areas:

  • Enhancing Singapore’s Appeal as a Destination:
The partnership aims to strengthen Filipinos’ preference for Singapore as a travel destination.
  • “Fly, Stay, Cruise” Packages:
This campaign will promote combined travel packages that include flights, hotel stays, and exciting cruise experiences in Singapore.
  • Singapore’s Event Calendar:
Highlighting Singapore’s vibrant lineup of events throughout the year will encourage Filipinos to plan trips around specific festivals or attractions.

Adding a touch of celebrity flair, the campaign has also appointed the popular couple Megan Young and Mikael Daez as its newest ambassadors. Their adventures will be showcased in a travel film that captures the essence of Singapore, from its cutting-edge architecture to its rich cultural heritage and hidden gems.

The Philippines plays a significant role in Singapore’s tourism industry. Last year, it ranked as the 6th largest source market, with nearly 700,000 Filipino tourists visiting Singapore, reflecting an impressive 81% increase from 2022.
