Cebu Pacific (CEB) celebrated its top travel agency partners at the recently concluded 18th Eagle Wings Awards. Held in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, the ceremony recognized the invaluable contributions of 60 agencies from both the Philippines and abroad. The Eagle Wings Awards serve as an annual tradition for Cebu Pacific, acknowledging the dedication and achievements of travel agents who play a pivotal role in the airline’s success.
“This is our way of giving thanks to everyone who did a good job in helping Cebu Pacific keep soaring in the skies. Together, let us applaud your achievements, celebrate your successes, and inspire one another as we continue to chart new paths and offer safe, accessible, and affordable, flights for every Juan,” according to Alexander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer in his speech during the awarding ceremony.
Cebu Pacific awarded accolades to a total of 60 travel agencies across its domestic and international network. The event wasn’t just about recognition — it was also a celebration. To extend their appreciation, CEB treated the travel agents to a tour of Palawan’s breathtaking landscapes. The group explored the island’s pristine beaches, lush natural wonders, and vibrant local community, forging lasting memories alongside their Cebu Pacific counterparts.
The airline’s commitment to a strong travel agency network goes hand-in-hand with its extensive route coverage. The airline boasts the widest domestic network in the Philippines, serving 35 local destinations. Internationally, Cebu Pacific offers 24 destinations, accessible with direct flights from Manila, Cebu, or Clark. This vast network allows travel agencies to cater to a diverse range of travel needs, further solidifying their partnership with Cebu Pacific.
“At a time when exploration and discovery became cherished pursuits, each and every one of you played a pivotal role in shaping unforgettable experiences for travelers in the Philippines and beyond. Your partnership and dedication have been instrumental in Cebu Pacific’s success, and we are deeply grateful for your unwavering support over the years,” Arlene Tena, CEB Director for Passenger Sales and Distribution, told the awardees.
The 18th Eagle Wings Awards mark a significant chapter in Cebu Pacific’s relationship with its travel agency partners. The ceremony not only recognized past achievements but also emphasized the importance of continued collaboration in shaping the future of Philippine travel.
