Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading low-cost carrier, has achieved two significant milestones with the delivery of its 16th and 17th aircraft for 2024. These additions further solidify its position as the airline with the youngest fleet in the country, enhancing its capacity to meet growing passenger demand while supporting its network expansion.
On 19 December 2024, Cebu Pacific welcomed a brand-new Airbus A330neo (RP-C3909), a 459-seater aircraft that boosts the airline’s long-haul capabilities. This latest delivery brings the number of A330neos in CEB’s fleet to 10. Known for its fuel efficiency and lower carbon emissions, the A330neo is a cornerstone of Cebu Pacific’s efforts to provide affordable and sustainable travel options.
Adding to its December achievements, Cebu Pacific received its 17th aircraft for the year, an Airbus A321neo (RP-C4149), on 24 December 2024. The 236-seater aircraft further expands the airline’s commercial fleet to 91 and enhances connectivity ahead of 2025.
The Airbus NEO family, including the A330neo and A321neo, represents the latest in aviation technology. These aircraft burn 15% less fuel per flight and produce less noise, aligning with Cebu Pacific’s sustainability goals.
Earlier in October 2024, Cebu Pacific signed a historic purchase agreement with Airbus and Pratt & Whitney for up to 152 A321neo aircraft, equipped with Pratt & Whitney GTF™ engines. Valued at approximately US$24 billion, this acquisition marks the largest fleet expansion in Philippine aviation history and underscores the airline’s commitment to growth.
With a diversified fleet comprising 10 Airbus 330s, 40 Airbus 320s, 26 Airbus 321s, and 15 ATR turboprops, Cebu Pacific remains poised to maintain the widest network coverage in the Philippines and beyond.
