Cebu Pacific Surpasses 1 Million Passengers Through Clark International Airport in 2024

Cebu Pacific achieved a milestone in 2024 by flying over 1 million passengers via Clark International Airport (CRK | RPLC). This figure represents a 36% year-on-year increase, equating to nearly 300,000 additional passengers compared to 2023.

The airline reported a remarkable growth in its monthly seat capacity, which surged by 102% from 79,000 in January to 161,000 in December. Similarly, the average number of flights almost doubled during the same period, rising from 441 in January to 872 in December.

This expansion aligns with Cebu Pacific’s mission to make air travel more accessible to passengers from central and northern Luzon, including provinces such as Bulacan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Nueva Ecija, Nueva Vizcaya, Benguet, Isabela, and La Union.

“We are delighted by the strong growth we achieved in 2024, which highlights the growing demand for accessible air travel among our passengers from central and northern Luzon. Cebu Pacific remains steadfast in its commitment to offering affordable and convenient flights, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our customers,” according to Candice Iyog, Cebu Pacific’s Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer.

Looking ahead, Cebu Pacific aims to further enhance travel options with regular seat sales and special promotions. These initiatives, combined with the airline’s expanding network, are set to provide travelers with more opportunities to explore domestic and international destinations.

As of 2024, Cebu Pacific operates flights to 35 domestic and 26 international destinations, including major hubs across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The airline continues to solidify its position as a leader in the aviation industry, delivering affordable and hassle-free travel experiences to millions of passengers.

This achievement underscores Cebu Pacific’s role as a vital link connecting Luzon to key destinations, fostering growth in tourism and economic activity in the region.
