Cebu Pacific is set to expand its domestic network with the introduction of direct flights between Cebu (CEB | RPVM) and El Nido (ENI) beginning 26 October 2025. The new route aims to provide travelers from Central Visayas with easier access to one of Palawan’s most famous tourist destinations, further boosting inter-island connectivity across the country.
The airline announced that its subsidiary Cebgo (DG) will operate daily flights on the Cebu–El Nido route, complementing the services already being offered by boutique airline AirSWIFT. This expansion comes just in time for the holiday season, traditionally a peak travel period for both local and international tourists.

“El Nido has long been one of the country’s most sought-after destinations, and soon it will be more accessible to those flying from Cebu and nearby provinces. By adding this route ahead of the holiday season, we are not only strengthening inter-island connectivity but also creating more opportunities for every Juan to discover the best of the Philippines,” according to Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.
The launch of the Cebu–El Nido route means that travelers from Central Visayas will no longer need to transit through Manila to reach El Nido’s world-renowned attractions. Visitors can directly explore the town’s breathtaking lagoons, limestone cliffs, and white sand beaches, which have consistently drawn both local and foreign tourists.
Cebu is also positioned as a convenient gateway to other Palawan destinations. From the Queen City of the South, Cebu Pacific already offers flights to Coron (Busuanga | USU | RPVV), San Vicente (Port Barton | SWL | RPSV), and Puerto Princesa (PPS | RPVP), making Palawan’s diverse destinations more accessible than ever before.
The route also benefits travelers heading the other way. For tourists from El Nido, Cebu presents its own rich variety of experiences — from visiting historical landmarks such as Magellan’s Cross and Fort San Pedro, to enjoying the city’s vibrant culinary scene highlighted by its world-famous lechon.
Passengers can conveniently book flights through Cebu Pacific’s website and mobile app, with payment options ranging from credit and debit cards to e-wallets. Existing Travel Funds may also be used for bookings, along with add-ons such as baggage allowances and seat selection.
Currently, Cebu Pacific operates flights to 37 domestic destinations and 26 international routes across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. With the new Cebu–El Nido connection, the airline continues to position itself as the most accessible option for travelers eager to explore the Philippines’ islands and beyond.
