FedEx Enhances International Delivery Services in APAC

FedEx Express, which is a part of FedEx Corp. and is among the largest companies in the world that provides express transportation services, is upgrading its international delivery services to meet the increasing demand of customers for reliable and varied services in the Asia Pacific region.

Starting from 02 May 2023, customers will be able to use FedEx International Economy® (IE) services to connect with 170 markets across the globe from the Asia Pacific. Normally, the IE service takes two (02) to five (05) business days for delivery within APAC and four (04) to five (05) business days for delivery to major markets in Europe and the U.S. Customers who want to ship less urgent shipments with day-definite delivery can rely on the same level of dependability as the FedEx time-definite International Priority service.

Simultaneously, FedEx will also enhance the transit times for FedEx International Priority® (IP) in specific trade lanes. Customers can choose IP to ship critical and urgent shipments and receive delivery between one to two business days in major markets and territories around the world. All of the improvements are accompanied by FedEx’s door-to-door, customs-cleared services.

“Businesses, especially small businesses, are looking for ways to introduce efficiencies that can help their bottom line, particularly in this economic environment. With more customers, particularly online consumers, ranking delivery speed as a less important factor in placing an order, businesses are looking for differentiated solutions. This is part of our continued efforts to deliver greater value and an outstanding experience for our customers,” according to Kawal Preet, President of Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa, FedEx Express.

“Not everything needs to be delivered the next day. Day-defined delivery is what more of our customers are looking for and our IE service enables us to address customers’ changing needs and expectations to select the service that adds the most value to their business,” said Salil Chari, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa region, FedEx Express.
