PAL Plans to Resume Regional Flights by June 2020

According to RoutesOnline.com, flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) intends to resume services for its regional operations by June 2020:

  • Manila – Singapore – vv
    (starting 03 June 2020; 3 times weekly utilizing an Airbus A321)
  • Manila – Xiamen – vv
    (starting 03 June 2020; once a week utilizing an Airbus A321)
  • Manila – Jakarta – vv
    (starting 13 June 2020; 2 times weekly utilizing an Airbus A321)
  • Manila – Kuala Lumpur – vv
    (starting 13 June 2020; once a week utilizing an Airbus A321)
  • Manila – Ho Chi Minh City – vv
    (starting 17 June 2020; 3 times weekly utilizing an Airbus A321)
  • Manila – Hong Kong – vv
    (starting 19 June 2020; 2 times weekly utilizing an Airbus A321)
  • Manila – Taipei Taoyuan – vv
    (starting 19 June 2020; 2 times weekly utilizing an Airbus A321)
  • Manila – Osaka Kansai – vv
    (starting 22 June 2020; 2 times weekly utilizing an Airbus A321)
  • Manila – Tokyo Haneda – vv
    (starting 22 June 2020; 2 times weekly utilizing an Airbus A321)

However, with the recent announcement of Japan expanding the entry ban to visitors from a total of 111 countries, including the Philippines, PAL could already be reconsidering the resumption of their flights to Osaka Kansai and Tokyo Haneda.
