Philippine Airlines and Singapore Tourism Board Unveil Year-Long Travel Campaigns

Philippine Airlines (PAL) has entered into a year-long partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to promote travel to Singapore, aiming to attract both first-time visitors and repeat travelers. This collaboration is set to feature a series of engaging activities, showcasing the airline’s premium flying experience and the diverse attractions Singapore has to offer.

The campaign, launched earlier this year, is centered around collaborations with well-known content creators like Laureen Uy and her husband Miggy Cruz, as well as lifestyle blogger and fashion designer Camille Co. The campaign includes a limited-time seat sale offering special deals on airfare, bundled with accommodation and unique experiences in Singapore. These promotions are designed to make travel to Singapore more enticing for Filipino travelers.

“Philippine Airlines is thrilled to once again partner with Singapore. Its dynamic culture has inspired the travels of countless Filipinos across our years of operations. Building on our shared success, we look forward to working together to create more opportunities for more Filipinos to experience how Singapore continues to be a world-class leisure destination,” said Capt. Stanley Ng, President and Chief Operating Officer of PAL.

“The Philippines is one of Singapore’s key markets and has recovered strongly with the support of longstanding partners like Philippine Airlines. They have been instrumental in reinforcing Singapore’s position as a vibrant lifestyle destination, where ordinary moments are transformed into extraordinary experiences. We are excited to bring our partnership with Philippine Airlines to the next level, and to welcome more Filipino travelers to Singapore soon,” Melissa Ow, Chief Executive of STB said.

In 2023, the Philippines emerged as Singapore’s 6th largest source of tourists, with nearly 700,000 Filipino visitors, reflecting an 84% recovery compared to 2019 levels. As of June 2024, nearly 390,000 Filipinos have already visited Singapore, indicating a continued interest in the destination.

Looking ahead, Filipino travelers to Singapore can anticipate several new attractions, including Bird Paradise, illumi, Harry Potter: Visions of Magic, Minion Land at Universal Studios Singapore, and Disney Adventure by Disney Cruise Line, ensuring a fresh and exciting experience for all visitors.
