Starting 01 March 2025, Philippine Airlines (PAL) will expand its Clark (CRK | RPLC) – Busuanga (Coron | USU | RPVV) route to daily flights, enhancing connectivity between Central Luzon and the picturesque islands of Northern Palawan. This development reflects PAL’s commitment to bolstering domestic tourism and fostering economic growth.
The enhanced schedule increases the current frequency from four weekly flights to seven, addressing the rising demand for leisure travel to Busuanga, the gateway to Coron. Known for its stunning landscapes, pristine beaches, turquoise lagoons, and diverse marine life, Coron has become a premier destination for both local and international tourists.
“We are excited to help foreign and domestic tourists discover the abundant wonders of Coron, home to the Twin Lagoons, Barracuda Lake, and vibrant coral reefs that grew from the hulks of sunken warships, hailed by Forbes Traveler Magazine as one of the top ten best scuba diving sites in the world. Our upgrade to daily Clark-Busuanga flights will help make fares more affordable and travel more convenient for both foreign and domestic tourists, in time for the summer travel season,” according to PAL Express President Mr. Rabbi Vincent Ang.
With this service expansion, PAL now operates 42 weekly flights to Busuanga. The airline also maintains three daily flights between Manila and Busuanga, along with two daily flights from Cebu to Busuanga.
Passengers on the Clark-Busuanga route will fly aboard PAL’s De Havilland Dash 8-400 Next Generation aircraft. These 86-seater planes deliver near-jet speeds and a quieter inflight experience, ensuring a comfortable journey.
In addition to the Clark-Busuanga route, PAL offers daily flights from Clark to Cebu, three weekly flights to Siargao, and four weekly flights to Basco, with seasonal nonstop flights to Seoul Incheon available until 04 March 2025.
Travelers can book tickets through the PAL website, mobile app, hotline (+632 8855-8888), or their preferred ticketing offices and travel agents.
