Singapore Airshow 2026 Returns with Expanded Features, Space Summit Debut, and Exciting Weekend Public Days

The Singapore Airshow, one of the world’s most influential aerospace and defence exhibitions, is set to return from 03 to 08 February 2026 at the Changi Exhibition Centre. Marking its 10th edition and two decades of shaping global aviation and defense, the biennial event will once again gather industry leaders, government delegations, innovators, and investors to exchange insights and forge the future of aerospace. With a mix of new features, expanded exhibits, and major global participation, the 2026 edition is expected to be the most extensive yet.

Since its inaugural run in 2008, the Singapore Airshow has grown into a premier gateway to the Asia-Pacific aviation market. The 2026 edition will feature more than 1,000 participating companies from over 50 countries and regions, with returning heavyweights such as Airbus, Boeing, GE Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, Lockheed Martin, Gulfstream, Thales, and ST Engineering. Defence technology newcomers like Helsing, Quantum, and Shield AI will also take part, showcasing next-generation capabilities. Numerous country pavilions will be present, including those from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, Singapore, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States, with expanded participation from China and the Italian Trade Agency.

A landmark addition this year is Space Summit 2026, to be held from 02 to 03 February 2026 at Marina Bay Sands. Officially endorsed by Singapore’s Office for Space Technology & Industry (OSTIn) and the Economic Development Board (EDB), the summit expands the Airshow’s scope to the rapidly growing space sector. With the theme “New Frontiers: Shaping a Responsible and Inclusive Space Future,” the event aims to position Singapore as the leading hub for space collaboration in the region by convening global space agencies, policymakers, investors, and innovators. Discussions will cover sustainability, infrastructure, investment, and the in-space economy — a market projected to reach US$1.8 trillion by 2035.

Sustainability will again take centre stage at the Airshow. Global renewable fuels leader Neste joins as the Sustainable Aviation Partner, offering insights on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), supply chain transition, and net-zero strategies. Attendees may also offset their travel emissions through the CarbonClick counter, reinforcing the event’s commitment to responsible aviation.

Innovation will be highlighted through expanded exhibition zones focusing on digital aviation, sustainable propulsion, and future defence technologies. The What’s Next startup showcase also returns with a stronger emphasis on dual-use and emerging technologies, fostering collaboration among OEMs, SMEs, and global tech startups. AeroForum will host high-level discussions on autonomy, workforce transformation, cybersecurity, advanced air mobility, and other critical industry priorities, while AeroCampus will expose students and young professionals to aerospace career pathways and future-ready skills.

One of the most anticipated segments of the entire event is Weekend@Airshow, happening on 07 to 08 February 2026, dedicated to aviation enthusiasts and families. This public weekend will feature thrilling aerial displays, static aircraft exhibitions, and a wide range of interactive and family-friendly activities. Popular mascots Captain Leo and Leonette will join visitors on-site, adding to the festive atmosphere. The weekend offers the rare opportunity for the public to get up close with cutting-edge commercial, military, and business aircraft — making it one of the most awaited aviation events in Southeast Asia. Tickets go on sale via SISTIC starting 10 December 2025, priced at SGD39 for adults, SGD19 for children aged 3 to 12, and SGD250 for a group package.

To enhance the visitor experience, Experia Hospitality Services (EHS) will provide curated services including airport transfers, lodging assistance, dining arrangements, business meeting support, and local activity recommendations — ensuring a seamless and convenient experience for international and local attendees alike.

Ahead of the main Airshow, the Changi Aviation Summit 2026 will take place on 01 to 02 February 2026, bringing together senior global aviation leaders to discuss the future of the industry. This year’s theme, “Rising Above Disruption: Building the Aviation Ecosystem of Tomorrow,” focuses on strengthening competitiveness, improving sustainability, and designing future-ready airport systems.

With its expanded scope, high-level forums, and a dynamic public weekend, the Singapore Airshow 2026 is poised to reinforce its role as a global centre for aerospace collaboration and one of the most exciting aviation events of the year.
