Sunlight Air to make Clark International Airport its New Home

In a major strategic move, boutique airline Sunlight Air is set to relocate its operations to Clark International Airport (CRK) effective 01 April 2024. This transition brings not only a change in location but also exciting additions to the airline’s services.

Passengers can now look forward to new nonstop routes to the picturesque Boracay, along with daily flights to and from Cebu. To mark this milestone, the airline is introducing limited-edition merchandise, allowing travelers to commemorate the airline’s significant step forward.

Following a meticulous evaluation, Sunlight Air has decided to make CRK its primary hub, while maintaining its booth at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4 exclusively for flights between Manila and Cebu.

“Our passengers are our top priority and are at the center of our operations, this move was made with the consideration and evaluation of the feedback we receive; and the topline service we work to provide. With this shift, Sunlight Air strives to provide even more passengers with our quality services, as well as a better airline experience overall in terms of heightened efficiency and reliability. We are confident in the added comfort that will come with serving our customers from CRK which was recently recognized and awarded for its top-notch facilities and world-class design,” according to Ryna Brito-Garcia, CEO of Sunlight Air.

Passengers with existing bookings from Manila (NAIA) will receive advisories regarding changes to their itineraries due to this transition. Sunlight Air will also offer shared shuttle services from NAIA to CRK for the convenience of its clientele. Flights scheduled for departure or arrival until 31 March 2024 are expected to proceed at NAIA unless communicated otherwise.

Clark International Airport (CRK) has been expanding its network with new local and international routes and aims to double its passenger volume in the coming year. Sunlight Air sees this as an opportunity to increase flight frequency, open up additional routes, and extend its signature boutique airline experience to more Filipinos.

Currently servicing flights between Manila and Coron, Siargao, Naga, and San Vicente, Sunlight Air will introduce new routes to Boracay and regular flights to and from Cebu starting April 2024.
