SWISS Expands its Reach with Exciting New European Destinations in Summer 2024

SWISS is set to enhance the travel experience for its passengers with an expanded array of short-haul destinations in the upcoming summer schedules of 2024, as announced by the airline’s Chief Commercial Officer Tamur Goudarzi Pour.

One of the highlights of this expansion is the extension of SWISS services to Bremen, a city in northern Germany that already enjoys winter connectivity with Zurich. The picturesque North German destination, known for its Old Town and historical landmarks such as the Roland Statue and the famed Town Musicians, promises travelers a rich cultural experience. With its scenic location along the River Weser and an abundance of shopping and dining options, Bremen is set to captivate the hearts of those seeking a unique travel experience.

As part of the strategic growth plan, SWISS will also introduce Cluj-Napoca and Košice to its short-haul network in the summer of 2024. Additionally, increased frequencies will be available between Zurich and several existing European destinations, including Alicante, Madrid, Naples, Venice, and Vilnius.

Geneva, another key hub for SWISS, will witness the inauguration of a new Oslo service next summer. The Norwegian capital, Oslo, renowned for its contemporary architecture, lush green parks, and cultural gems like the Opera House, offers a delightful mix of urban sophistication and natural beauty. SWISS will also introduce new summer services on existing Geneva-Copenhagen and Geneva-Stockholm routes, providing travelers with enhanced options to explore the charm of these Scandinavian cities.

Copenhagen, with its blend of modern Scandinavian design and historic architecture, presents a unique ambiance along its waterfront. Meanwhile, Stockholm, spread across 14 islands, showcases well-preserved royal palaces and historic Old Town lanes. In addition to these new routes, SWISS will increase frequencies between Geneva and existing destinations such as Athens, Brindisi, Brussels, Catania, Malaga, Palma, and Valencia in its 2024 summer schedules.

The expansion of SWISS’s network reaffirms its commitment to providing passengers with a diverse range of travel options, ensuring a seamless and enriching journey for those seeking new and exciting European destinations.
