Philippine Airlines (PAL) is soaring to new heights in its Australia-Philippines network, ramping up its Brisbane-Manila service to daily flights starting 27 October 2024. This expansion cements PAL’s position as the leading airline connecting Australia and the Philippines, boasting the most extensive network of flights between the two countries.
With this latest addition, PAL will operate a total of 22 weekly flights between Australia and the Philippines, offering travelers unparalleled convenience and flexibility. The airline’s expanded network includes daily flights from Brisbane and Sydney, five weekly flights from Melbourne, and three weekly flights from Perth to Manila.

PAL’s Brisbane and Perth routes will be served by Airbus A321neo aircraft, while Sydney and Melbourne flights will utilize widebody A330s. All flights offer full-flat Business Class seats and seatback inflight entertainment screens in all classes, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable journey.
Upon arrival in Manila, passengers can easily connect to PAL’s extensive domestic and international network, providing access to popular Philippine destinations and major cities across Asia, North America, and the Middle East.
Business class passengers and frequent flyers can indulge in the newly renovated PAL Mabuhay Lounge at Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Designed by Atelier Almario, the lounge offers a luxurious and comfortable space for dining, working, and relaxing before their onward journey.
PAL has also partnered with Wamos Air for the temporary use of two Airbus A330-200 aircraft on flights from Sydney and Melbourne until January 2025. This arrangement has been updated to allow PAL to deploy more of its own cabin crew on these flights, ensuring the highest standards of safety and service.
With its expanding network and focus on service excellence, PAL is solidifying its position as a major player in international aviation. The airline currently flies to 36 destinations across Asia, North America, Australia, and the Middle East, in addition to 32 cities within the Philippines.
