ANA Holdings Inc. has officially announced its revised flight schedule for the second half of fiscal year 2026, outlining network strategy adjustments across its passenger and cargo business divisions. Amid widespread capacity expansions, long-haul fleet upgrades, and new domestic airline collaborations within Japan, the Japanese aviation group is keeping its direct passenger air links to the Philippines stable, maintaining its established daily operations on key routes connecting Manila with Tokyo’s primary gateways.
For the Philippine market, All Nippon Airways (ANA | NH) will continue operating daily roundtrip passenger services on both its Narita (NRT) – Manila (MNL) via NH 819/820 and Haneda (HND) – Manila (MNL) via NH 869/870 routes. Each route will remain scheduled at seven roundtrip per week, ensuring continuous daily connectivity between Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and the Tokyo metropolitan area throughout the second half of the fiscal year. The consistent schedules reflect steady passenger travel demand on routes connecting the Philippines and Japan.
While Philippine passenger routes maintain their established flight frequencies, ANA Group is rolling out significant capacity and product enhancements elsewhere across its global international network. Total international passenger flights operated by ANA will expand by four percent compared to the same period of the previous year. Key long-haul updates include upgrading the Tokyo Narita – Mumbai route to daily service starting 01 September 2026, alongside frequency increases on Narita routes to Bangkok and Singapore. European capacity will also expand as Tokyo Haneda – Milan flights transition to daily service within the second half of the fiscal year.
Passengers flying on ANA’s broader international network will also experience major cabin upgrades starting in late 2026. Beginning in November 2026, the airline will take delivery of new Boeing B787-9 aircraft equipped with updated seat designs across all classes. These new deliveries will showcase the airline’s latest Business Class seat, “THE Room FX,” alongside newly designed Premium Economy Class and Economy Class seats aimed at elevating overall travel comfort.
In addition to full-service passenger operations, low-cost subsidiary Peach Aviation (MM) will increase its international flight capacity by nine percent year-over-year. On the domestic front within Japan, ANA and Japan Airlines have launched a historic initiative by coordinating flight schedules on the Haneda – Okayama route. This initiative was developed following recommendations from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism’s “Expert Panel on Domestic Aviation,” which was convened to maintain sustainable air links under a challenging domestic business environment. Meanwhile, cargo operations managed alongside Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) will see streamlined freighter routings across North America, Europe, and Asia.
