Cebu Pacific announced that it will expand its Airbus A330neo operations to more domestic destinations beginning 26 October 2025. The move is aimed at meeting the surge in travel demand ahead of the busy holiday season while boosting tourism and economic activity across the country.
The airline will begin deploying its 459-seater Airbus A330neo on the Manila (MNL) – Iloilo (ILO) route with seven weekly flights starting 26 October 2025. On 02 November 2025, the same aircraft type will service the Manila (MNL) – Puerto Princesa (PPS) route four times weekly. By 16 November 2025, A330neo flights will also connect Manila (MNL) to Bohol (TAG) with seven weekly frequencies.

Xander Lao, President and Chief Commercial Officer of Cebu Pacific, emphasized that the expansion strengthens the airline’s commitment to accessible and affordable travel. “We’re excited to expand our A330neo operations to more Philippine destinations, as this allows us to offer more seats, lower fares, and an even more comfortable travel experience for our passengers. By increasing capacity to key domestic routes, we not only make travel more accessible, but also help drive tourism and stimulate economic activity, creating opportunities for local communities and further supporting the growth of Philippine tourism,” Lao said.
Cebu Pacific is currently the largest operator of A330neo aircraft in the Asia-Pacific region, with 12 units in service. The airline achieved another milestone in July 2025 when the delivery of its latest A330neo brought its total fleet to over 100 aircraft, making it the first Philippine carrier to reach this scale.
At present, the airline deploys the widebody A330neo on domestic routes to Cebu (CEB), Davao (DVO), and General Santos (GES), in addition to international services across Asia, Australia, and the United Arab Emirates. The addition of Iloilo, Puerto Princesa, and Bohol expands the aircraft’s reach and gives more travelers access to some of the Philippines’ top leisure destinations. Puerto Princesa is known for its pristine beaches and rich marine biodiversity, Iloilo boasts culinary delights and Spanish-era landmarks, while Bohol offers the world-famous tarsiers and the Chocolate Hills.
The Airbus A330neo is designed to offer efficiency, comfort, and sustainability. The aircraft consumes up to 25 percent less fuel per flight compared to older-generation widebodies, translating into significantly lower carbon emissions. It is also quieter, reducing noise impact on airport communities. With its high-capacity layout, Cebu Pacific can optimize flights on high-demand routes while keeping fares competitive.
Cebu Pacific operates one of the youngest fleets globally, consisting of 12 Airbus A330s, 40 Airbus A320s, 26 Airbus A321s, and 22 ATR turboprop aircraft. This diversified fleet allows the airline to maintain the widest domestic network coverage in the Philippines while continuously supporting the country’s aviation and tourism growth.
