AirAsia Philippines is honoring the dedication of the country’s educators this National Teachers’ Month with a special travel privilege designed to make their journeys smoother and more memorable. From 01 to 10 October 2025, the airline is offering an exclusive check-in lane for teachers at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2.
Teachers flying with AirAsia during this period may head straight to Counter 23 at NAIA Terminal 2 to enjoy faster and more convenient processing. To access the privilege, educators simply need to present a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license.

This initiative, according to AirAsia Philippines, is part of its ongoing effort to show appreciation for teachers’ invaluable role in shaping the nation. The airline emphasized that while teachers are often focused on nurturing others, they also deserve recognition and meaningful breaks.
“At AirAsia Philippines, we deeply value our educators. Behind their hard work and perseverance, we recognize their need for well-deserved breaks — whether for a visit to loved ones, relaxation at leisure destinations or simply a mental health break. This initiative is our way of ensuring that their journey with AirAsia is not only convenient but truly purposeful and memorable,” according to AirAsia Philippines President and CEO Captain Suresh Bangah.
To make the tribute extra special, teachers flying with AirAsia on 05 October 2025, which marks World Teachers’ Day, will receive exclusive Santan merchandise. The tokens are meant to serve as a small but heartfelt reminder of the airline’s gratitude toward educators.
The special lane for teachers is just one part of AirAsia’s celebratory offerings this October. In line with National Teachers’ Month, the airline is also rolling out a seat sale featuring one-way base fares starting at just PHP118. Travelers may book flights from Cebu to popular domestic destinations such as Iloilo, or international routes including Macau. Macau also serves as a convenient gateway to Hong Kong, which can be reached in just an hour via ferry.
The booking window for these discounted fares runs from 29 September 2025 to 12 October 2025. Passengers may plan ahead and travel between 15 November 2025 and 14 September 2026. AirAsia reminds customers that terms and conditions apply, and additional taxes and surcharges are not included in the base fare.
