Cebu Pacific Issues Undas 2025 Travel Advisory

As the peak travel season for Undas approaches, Cebu Pacific (CEB) is urging passengers to prepare ahead and follow important reminders to ensure a safe, smooth, and hassle-free travel experience. With thousands expected to fly during the long weekend, the airline has issued a comprehensive advisory to help every Juan enjoy a seamless journey.

Cebu Pacific reminded passengers to first check their flight details and terminal assignments before heading to the airport. Travelers are advised to review their itineraries and boarding passes to verify their flight number and the correct airport terminal. Flights with the code 5J are operated by Cebu Pacific using larger commercial jets, all departing from and arriving at NAIA Terminal 3. Flights under DG, operated by Cebgo, use smaller turboprop aircraft, while T6 flights are operated by AirSWIFT and use NAIA Terminal 2. Starting 26 October 2025, select DG flights between Manila and Naga, and all flights between Manila and San Jose (Occidental Mindoro), will be transferred to Clark International Airport. All other DG flights to and from Manila will continue to operate from NAIA Terminal 2.

Given the expected road congestion during the holiday period, CEB strongly advises passengers to arrive at the airport early — at least three hours before departure for domestic flights and four hours before for international flights. For passengers bound for Dubai, check-in counters open as early as seven hours before flight time. Check-in counters close 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and one hour before for international flights, ensuring enough time for security checks and immigration procedures. Boarding begins 45 minutes before departure, so passengers are encouraged to proceed directly to their gates after check-in.

To reduce waiting times at the airport, CEB encourages passengers to check in online through the Cebu Pacific mobile app or via the “Manage Booking” section on its website. Online check-in opens 48 hours before flight time and remains available until one hour before departure for domestic flights and two hours before departure for international routes. Passengers without check-in baggage who complete online check-in can proceed straight to the boarding gates. At NAIA Terminal 3, CEB check-in counters are located at Aisles A and B, with Counters A1–A15 reserved for online check-ins and A17–A29 and B1–B15 for walk-in check-ins.

For those traveling abroad, CEB reminds everyone to complete their eTravel forms within 72 hours before departure and arrival in the Philippines via www.etravel.gov.ph. Each traveler must generate and save their QR code, which will be required by immigration and customs officials. International passengers on round-trip flights must complete the eTravel form twice — once before leaving the Philippines and once before returning. CEB also advises travelers to fill out the Customs Declaration Form before arrival for a smoother airport experience.

Regarding baggage, passengers may bring one carry-on bag and one personal item with a combined weight of 7 kilograms or less. Oversized or overweight hand-carry items will be charged at the gate. Cebu Pacific recommends buying prepaid baggage allowance online, which can be up to four times cheaper than airport rates. The airline’s enhanced baggage policy allows travelers to buy up to three 20kg baggage pieces, with optional add-ons of 4kg, 8kg, or 12kg per piece. Additional baggage can be purchased online up to two hours before departure.

Lastly, passengers flying from select domestic airports such as Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Clark, Coron, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Manila, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, and Zamboanga are reminded to self-tag their check-in luggage at designated kiosks before proceeding to bag drop counters. Self-bag drop facilities are also available at NAIA Terminal 3 and Clark International Airport.

The airline also encouraged travelers to visit its Help Center for more information on domestic and international travel guides at https://help.cebupacificair.com/articles/flying-out-soon.
