Cebu Pacific (5J) is significantly boosting regional network connectivity from Mindanao by resuming direct international flights from Davao (DVO) to Hong Kong (HKG) and Bangkok via Don Mueang International Airport (DMK). Alongside the reinstatement of these key regional routes, the low-cost airline is also increasing flight frequencies from Davao (DVO) to Iloilo (ILO) and Siargao (IAO). This strategic expansion provides travelers across Mindanao with enhanced access, greater convenience, and seamless connections to both prominent domestic destinations and vital international leisure and business hubs.

The direct operations between Davao and Hong Kong are set to restart on 25 October 2026, with Cebu Pacific scheduling four flights weekly every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The following day, on 26 October 2026, direct flights between Davao and Don Mueang in Bangkok will officially commence. The Bangkok route will operate three times weekly, with scheduled flights every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, allowing travelers to fly directly without needing connecting flights.

To further reinforce its domestic footprint and service reliability, Cebu Pacific is also increasing frequencies on key routes departing from Davao. Flight services between Davao and Siargao will grow from six times weekly to ten times weekly. Meanwhile, flights operating between Davao and Iloilo will see an increase from ten times weekly to fourteen times weekly. These frequency boosts offer passengers significantly more schedule options and improved travel flexibility when commuting between these major Philippine cities and island destinations.

The restored and expanded flight options allow Mindanao travelers to explore a broad range of cultural and leisure destinations. Travelers heading to Siargao can immerse themselves in the island’s laid-back charm and world-famous surf spots. Those journeying to Iloilo can explore its rich cultural heritage, thriving food culture, and well-preserved historical landmarks. Internationally, visitors traveling to Hong Kong can experience its vibrant cityscape and unique culinary scene, while those arriving in Thailand can discover its rich cultural heritage and renowned street food options.

To further encourage travelers to take advantage of these direct services and network expansions, Cebu Pacific is offering an ongoing promotional seat sale until 15 August 2026. Passengers can book flights to all domestic and international destinations on sale for base fares as low as PHP 88 one-way, exclusive of additional fees and surcharges. The designated travel period for this special seat sale spans from 01 September 2026 to 31 December 2026.

Cebu Pacific currently operates an extensive network covering 35 Philippine domestic destinations and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. To make their overall travel experience even more convenient, passengers booking flights on these routes can customize their journey by purchasing additional baggage allowance and pre-ordering meals in advance.
