The country’s leading carrier, Cebu Pacific (5J), is set to resume its direct international flights connecting Iloilo (ILO) to Bangkok via Don Mueang (DMK) and Singapore (SIN). The strategic move aims to further strengthen international connectivity from its growing Iloilo hub while offering travelers throughout Western Visayas more options for seamless travel to key Asian destinations without needing to transit through Manila (MNL) or Cebu (CEB).

Starting 23 November 2026, the airline will resume operations from Iloilo International Airport to both Bangkok (Don Mueang) and Singapore. Each route will run three times weekly, with departures scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Corresponding return flights originating from Bangkok (Don Mueang) and Singapore back to Iloilo are scheduled to operate three times weekly every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday beginning 24 November 2026.

In Bangkok, travelers can explore the city’s famous temples, bustling night markets, and sample a variety of Thai dishes. To stimulate travel interest and celebrate the network resumption, Cebu Pacific has launched an ongoing seat sale running until 31 August 2026. Passengers can secure one-way base fares to select domestic and international routes for as low as PHP 199, exclusive of fees and surcharges. The travel window for this promotional offering spans from 16 August 2026 to 31 January 2027.

Currently, Cebu Pacific operates an extensive route network serving 35 Philippine and 26 international destinations spread across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. To customize their travel experience, passengers can make their journey more convenient by purchasing additional baggage allowance and pre-ordering meals for their flight.
