Embraer has officially delivered the first Praetor 600E to Flexjet, establishing the company as the fleet launch customer for the next-generation super-midsize business jet. The newly delivered aircraft introduces a reimagined cabin design equipped with Embraer’s industry-exclusive Smart Window™, which features a 42-inch 4K OLED touchscreen monitor. This system supports high-resolution video streaming, video conferencing, and real-time external views provided by three externally-mounted cameras. Paired with an optional divan configuration, the Smart Window transforms the cabin into a versatile environment for both productivity and entertainment, complemented by an enhanced galley designed for improved convenience.
The Praetor 600E was initially unveiled alongside the Praetor 500E in February of this year, featuring a series of customer-centric enhancements. The aircraft achieved triple certification from the National Civil Aviation Agency of Brazil (ANAC), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in April 2026. Shortly after, the Praetor 500E received its triple certification in June 2026, setting the stage for both aircraft to enter commercial service. Flexjet is scheduled to receive its first Praetor 500E delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026, at which point it will also become the fleet launch customer for that aircraft model.
This recent delivery highlights a business relationship between Embraer and Flexjet that spans back to 2003. Over the past two decades, the partnership has achieved several key milestones, including Flexjet’s 2019 selection as the fleet launch customer for the original Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 jets. More recently, in February 2025, the two companies finalized a landmark deal valued at up to US$7 billion. That agreement includes a firm order for 182 aircraft, options for an additional 30 aircraft, and a comprehensive services and support package.

Built for long-range performance, the Praetor 600E boasts an intercontinental range of 4,018 nautical miles (7,441 km) carrying four passengers with NBAA IFR reserves. This capability enables seamless nonstop flights between major global city pairs such as London to New York and São Paulo to Miami. Beyond performance, the interior features all-new Embraer-designed seating, an advanced Cabin Management System (CMS), and modern connectivity solutions. For flight operations, the Praetor 600E is outfitted with Embraer’s comprehensive avionics suite. This includes class-exclusive full fly-by-wire technology with active turbulence reduction, the Embraer Enhanced Vision System (E2VS), and the Runway Overrun Awareness and Alerting System (ROAAS), all working together to optimize flight smoothness, reduce pilot workload, and maximize operational safety.
