Philippine Airlines (PAL | PR) has reached a major milestone in its long-haul widebody expansion strategy after signing a key power supply agreement with GE Aerospace. The deal selects the GEnx-1B engine to power the flag carrier’s upcoming fleet of 15 new Boeing B787-10 Dreamliners. The strategic agreement also incorporates purchase rights for five additional Dreamliner aircraft, further solidifying the carrier’s commitment to fleet modernization, operational excellence, and long-term sustainable growth.
