The Philippines leading budget carrier, Cebu Pacific (CEB | 5J), is strengthening its commitment to domestic air travel by partnering with the Department of Tourism (DOT) for its newest nationwide marketing initiative. Entitled “Discover More to Love,” this collaborative effort aims to make exploring the country far more accessible and meaningful for every Filipino traveler, reinforcing the common goal of encouraging locals to experience diverse destinations across the archipelago.

Led by newly appointed Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay, the government’s campaign aligns with Cebu Pacific’s existing domestic initiative known as Discover Juan by Juan. Together, both programs highlight the unique cultures, rich heritage, and authentic experiences found across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The initiative represents the tourism department’s refreshed strategy to motivate Filipinos to rediscover their homeland through memorable journeys while driving economic activity to regional hubs.

To support this strategic vision, the airline is leveraging its low-fare philosophy, regular promotional seat sales, and wide-reaching domestic route map. In addition to providing cost-effective air travel, the carrier collaborates with local hospitality brands, dining establishments, wellness operators, and micro-enterprises, giving passengers opportunities to immerse themselves deeper into every destination.

As a headline offer for this joint venture, Cebu Pacific launched a special promo seat sale featuring one-way base fares starting at PHP 188 for select routes departing from Manila (MNL) and Clark (CRK), excluding applicable taxes, fees, and surcharges. The booking window ran through 17 July 2026 for travel valid through 30 November 2026.

According to Candice Iyog, Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer at Cebu Pacific, the airline remains a long-standing partner of the government in expanding air connectivity and making flight options affordable for everyone. She noted that supporting the new national campaign makes it simpler to showcase the incredible places that make the country distinct. She further emphasized that opening access to both established hotspots and emerging destinations builds essential opportunities for local communities, small businesses, and workers reliant on aviation and tourism growth.

Over the past thirty years, the carrier has played an integral role in shaping the Philippine aviation landscape by lowering the barrier to air travel. Popular island destinations such as Siargao, Coron, and El Nido have seen significant growth in visitor arrivals thanks to direct flight connectivity. Operating to 35 domestic destinations, the airline continues to connect passengers nationwide, unlocking new opportunities for adventure, culture, and economic development.
