All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd. (ANA | NH) has officially announced the inaugural flight schedule for its specially painted “Green Pokémon Jet,” marking the second aircraft unveiled under the airline’s 30th Anniversary Special Project following last month’s reveal of the Red Pokémon Jet. The eye-catching thematic widebody is set to enter service on regular international long-haul and regional routes beginning Friday, 18 September 2026.
The newly decorated aircraft is a Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner bearing the registration JA923A. On its inaugural service date, the “Green Pokémon Jet” is scheduled to operate round-trip flights between Tokyo Haneda (HND) and Honolulu (HNL). Flight NH186 will depart Haneda at 2155H local time and arrive in Honolulu at 1035H local time, while the returning flight NH185 will depart Honolulu at 1355H local time and arrive back at Haneda at 1725H local time the following day.
Beyond its initial launch day, the “Green Pokémon Jet” is scheduled to serve an extensive network of international destinations out of Tokyo’s two primary international hubs between 18 September 2026 and 27 March 2027. From Tokyo Haneda (HND), the aircraft is slated to operate on routes connecting to Honolulu (HNL), Seattle (SEA), Vancouver (YVR), Sydney (SYD), Manila (MNL), Singapore (SIN), Delhi (DEL), Bangkok (BKK), Jakarta (CGK), and Kuala Lumpur (KUL). Meanwhile, the “Green Pokémon Jet” will also operate out of Tokyo Narita (NRT) on international routes serving Perth (PER), Singapore (SIN), Bangkok (BKK), Jakarta (CGK), and Mumbai (BOM). Passengers, spotters, and fans should keep in mind that aircraft and route assignments remain subject to daily operational changes and are only confirmed on the day of actual flight operations.
In parallel with the aircraft’s deployment, ANA is launching the second phase of its Pokémon GO collaboration. Starting 18 September 2026, specially designed ANA PokéStops and Gyms will appear at 14 designated airports across Japan. These airport locations include Kochi (COK), Matsuyama (MYJ), Takamatsu (TAK), Tokushima (TKS), Fukuoka (FUK), Saga (HSG), Miyazaki (KMI), Kumamoto (KMJ), Kagoshima (KOJ), Nagasaki, Oita (NGS), Ishigaki (ISG), Miyako (MMY), and Naha (OKA). At these airport stops, mobile gamers and travelers can participate in interactive Raid Battles and Timed Research events. Players participating in these location-based events will have the exclusive chance to encounter Pokémon featuring a special Location Background tied specifically to the “Green Pokémon Jet” collaboration.
To maintain strict operational safety standards on board, ANA has outlined specific guidelines regarding in-flight passenger interactions: “For the safety of our passengers and crew, ANA cabin crew will refrain from signing or writing messages in logbooks. We ask for your understanding and cooperation to ensure safe operations.”
